This Belgian beer has amazing rich dry fruit aroma, raisins, plums, bread and grape skins. Tastes like a thick jam, again lots of dry fruits, yeast forward with a thick malt body. Deep flavor without being roasty. |

Appearance: very dark brown colour. Opaque with a reasonable amount of floating yeast. Foamy brown head, medium to low in size. Good retention with some lacings. Aroma: vinous alcohol, molasses, sweet malts, spices and citrus. Taste: sweet malts, dark chocolates notes, spices and molasses. Mouthfeel: unctuous, medium carbonation, high but well disguised alcoholic strength and full body. Finish: very long finish of warming vinous alcohol. |
